Typically Wheel Blasting is the process used to remove scale and impurities for finishing a product or to prepare a product for coating. This process is achieved by abrasive materials centrifugally thrown through a wheel onto the surface of the product. The abrasive can be as gentle as sawdust to as abrasive as steel angular grit. Another use of Wheel Blast is for strengthening or peening.
