Kotlyn Inc. was founded in 1986 by Jack Kotlyn. Starting out as a distributor for replacement parts for Industrial Wheel Blast Machines with a home based office.
With economic changes over the past 30 years, Kotlyn, Inc. has evolved into a fabricator, rebuild and installation service, training and consulting company and seller of new, used and rebuilt Industrial Shotblast Equipment. We are also a distributor for Dust Collection Equipment and all replacement parts and cartridges.
Our first location in Grafton was a 5000 SF warehouse. In March 2014 Koltyn Inc. moved offices to Downtown Cleveland, OH. In addition to new offices, we purchased a 33,000 SF building at 887 East 67th street – just minutes from our offices. The building which was the old Cleveland Metal Abrasives company is divided into 2 spaces. 15,000 SF for rebuilding machines, painting, fabricating and MFG replacement parts. The balance of the space is for storage of our on-site rebuild trailers and storage of replacement parts and cartridges and used equipment.
In addition to the move in 2014, Jack Kotlyn split his interest in the company with his wife of 28 years, Debbie Kotlyn. Kotlyn Inc. is a certified WBENC(Woman Business Enterprise) and WOSB (Woman Owned Small Business) company. We also hold certifications with the City of Cleveland and Cuyahoga County as Small business Enterprise, Female Business Enterprise, Local producer and NEORSD WBE certification.
Our focus is always on the customer and getting their needs met with as little downtime as possible. Our 30 plus years of knowledge in the Industrial Shot Blast industry makes us one of the few Companies who specialize in this market. Our sister company, Master Blaster Association helps us achieve these goals through inter-customer relationships.
